Brown creepers are well-named quiet little birds that make a living by creeping up tree trunks and feeding on bark invertebrates.   These were photographed along the Glenn Highway, in south-central Alaska, in Madera Canyon, Arizona, and in the Santa Lucia Mountains of central California.
