Several species of colorful robin-chats are found in African forests and brushlands. Most are superb singers, and the robin chat shown here -- although less colorful than some of its relatives -- has a wonderful loud song. This one was photographed on a wet morning in my sister's back yard in the suburb of Karen, near Nairobi, Kenya. |
