Cinereous ground-tyrant        Images © Mark A. Chappell

The ground-tyrants are long-legged, plain-colored open-country flycatchers that spend most of their time on the ground.   This one was photographed at Abra Malaga Pass, at about 4300 m altitude (about 14,500 feet) near Cuzco, Peru.   It did not sit still long enough, or come close enough, to allow a really good image.
