Buff-throated foliage-gleaner        Images © Mark A. Chappell

There are many forest-dwelling Furnariids ('ovenbirds') in South America and telling them apart can be a challenge.   I'm fairly sure this is the buff-throated foliage-gleaner, the most common foliage-gleaner in mid-altitude forests.   I managed to take a couple of photos of this bird near San Pedro, on the Manu road on the eastern slope of the Andes in Peru.
