The spectacular male black-throated mango at upper left tried to visit our feeders in Gamboa, Panama on several occasions but was always chased off by the more aggressive rufous-tailed hummingbirds and white-naped jacobins.  The females (below) were in Colombia, near Tatama National Park (oddly we never saw any males there).
