Yellow-green vireo
Images copyright by Mark A. Chappell

The yellow-green vireo is the tropical counterpart of the red-eyed vireo that breeds in North America.   They are one of the commonest birds in forests and gardens in Central America and their loud calls make them easy to locate.   I took these pictures near Gamboa, Panama.
