Red-legged cormorant; Chilean name Lile

If any cormorant can be called beautiful, this is the one.   It is a common bird on the Chilean coast, where I photographed these near the southern city of Valdivia.   Unfortunately, they were a long way away on a cliffside, in very bad light, so these images are not the best -- but I hope they convey an impression of the striking plumage of this species.
