Specimen status: No type status, not from type locality assigned by Boström & De Ley (1996). However, this specimen was collected from Wernhout, one of the localities from which de Man reported C. vexilliger in his later publication of 1921. Kept in slide with Accession No. ƒ of the UCR Nematode Collection.
Remark: Note the very prominent spermatheca and open phasmids.
