During winter visits to south Florida, we went through several cypress swamps in Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary and nearby Big Cypress Preserve. Even though the trees had lost their bright green leaves, I found these swamps fascinating, lovely, and vaguely primordial places. I used a split neutral-density graduated filter to even out the exposure on the bright sky and dark water. |
